We are trying to improve our overall service regarding S106 proposals. As part of this work we would like to find out if anyone has any successful / best practice examples on how to engage Members and non-planning officer colleagues on S106 issues i.e. regarding: how the system works; how Members can best engage with individual site discussions involving S106 funding proposals; how Members can best engage in long-term policy development on S106 by their authority; and why service department colleagues need to project plan expenditure on individual S106-funded schemes with examples of how they might best do that. We would be grateful if anyone is willing to share some examples of work they have carried out on any of the above.
