Hi Amanda, sorry for the silence from PAS. You've asked a very pertinent question and one that we too have been asking of DCLG. At the moment we don't know whether it will be 'NPPF'd' in that it will be stripped down and reduced in size and of course updated to reflect the final NPPF, or 'disppeared'. I know there are discussions going on about the future role of official guidance, sector guidance etc so it might be caught up in that conversation. But whatever, I hope that some of the information in the manual is still relevant because it reflects, I hope, good planning. So we'll need to think about what we do with the most useful content. If you have any thoughts on the future of the Manual then we'd be interested in hearing them.
