What might a 'new style' Local Plan look like! - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Having now withdrawn our draft Core Strategy we are looking to put in place a new Local Plan for the Borough. Following a discussion with PINS the issue emerged of how to appraoch a new style local plan. In future a local plan is not just local it is also strategic. It was suggested there should be a strategic 'front end' with a possible key diagram followed by a local policies and allocations etc section with a detailed policies map. All sounds very much like a unitary plan to me. Has anyone else started thinking of what the new Local Plans might look like yet??
