Adopted Land Allocations DPD

Can anyone confirm whether there is a central resource which confirms the LPAs who have an adopted Land Allocations DPD in place? Thanks

Re: Adopted Land Allocations DPD

There is some information available on the Planning Portal which might be useful: http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/pins/local_plans/other_plans.pdf I am not sure when it was last updated or where the information comes from but could be a useful start. Suzanne

Re: Adopted Land Allocations DPD

I don't know of one. Planning mag has a map, and PINS keep a log of examined DPDs (at the link provided by Suzanne above). I suspect that planning mag's map is driven by the PINS data. What makes it all a bit of a pain is that there isn't an accepted taxonomy of plans, so you won't know whether a core strategy includes allocations or requires a separate document (without looking at it)

Note that the link provided only shows the 'other plans', as Nick Thompson was asking about adopted Land Allocations DPDs. There is another pdf of those plans which are 'strategic issues/core strategies' at http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/pins/local_plans/LPA_Core_Strategy_Progress.pdf I think PINS will have to come up with another name for plans which are 'core strategies including allocations' - local plans maybe?

Thanks for your response guys. The link from Suzanne seems to do the trick. I've seen the articles in Planning Magazine previously but its useful to have a more up to date resource. Hopefully we'll see this list developing a great pace hereon...
