Broadband Policy in Local Plans

I'm interested to know if anyone is doing anything in their Core Strategy or Local Plan to require developers to provide ducting or cabling for broadband? We have a general policy that promotes the growth of telecommunications systems, and we have identified the rolling out of broadband through our rural areas in the IDP, but I'm wondering if we should take the policy any further. Can anyone advise please?

Hi Helen, We at Huntingdonshire are currently consulting on a policy. Its early in the consultation period but its not a policy I'm anticipating that many comments on. Hope this helps.
