We have a stone barn ripe for renovation but LA saying could only be holiday cottage due to LDP. Seems the LA have said yes to every planning application and are now 12% over for the area. However.....non of the plots/development sites have been built on and have sat unused for sometimes as long as 25 years + . there is a clear housing need (also in LDP) but no one is building so in my simple brain the two things don't add up. Has anyone any experience of an LA considering a renovation project + 3 acres to be sold with 106 on it? ( would be great coastal smallholding) We will never have the funds to do anything with it and would hate to see it go to waste. We are in West Wales. Thanks
