I wonder if anyone can help advise this charity I am involved in please?
The RSPCA premises is a large broad-leaved ancient woodland. A small part of the site (less than 5%) serves as an animal hospital for wild species. The centre is very active within the local community in a relatively deprived area, hosting events particularly for children.
They would like to build a viewing platform or den like structure in the woods. They hope to build with sustainability in mind, with as minimal impact on the environment as possible. They will be using this opportunity to teach young people life skills whilst also educating them on habitats and their local environment.
Would this require planning permission and/or building regs?
