First time poster...so please bear with me and apologies if this is covered somewhere else.
We are in the process of reviewing all of our DM processes with a view to introducing IDOX in 2017. As such, i am reviewing validation and consultation processes, and this through up the pandoras box that is reviewing the 'who to consult?' 'When to consult?' 'And why to consult?' looking at stat. and non.stat consultees.
Whilst the PPG is very good, and is directional in terms of where to find the information, I was looking to establish some sort of “quick reference” matrix for the process so that once the constraints and detail of the scheme have been identified, the correct consultations can be undertaken. This will then form the basis of the “coding” we build into IDOX next year, so that this can be done automatically…we have systems already in place, but need to refresh. Plus we have a number of new admin staff and it would also help their progression and learning.
I had envisaged some sort of table that was along the lines of:
Constraint/Designation – Who to consult – Broad requirement – Detailed requirement – Notes/Standing advice
Does anyone have something that may fit the bill? If not, I will keep looking, or start the task of pulling bits out the PPD, DMO, etc etc.
