Hi, My firm is developing software to handle metrics relating to sustainability specifically for NPPF based planning applications. We are using the Brundtland Report and the 'Securing The Future' document as the primary inputs for this task. (Other reports & documents are available - but the NPPF refers specifically to the two documents mentioned) I haven't heard of any 'off the shelf' definition of sustainability being available from central government for the NPPF - but have I missed something? What is YOUR authority using as the core definition of 'sustainable development'? Or are you simply relying on the mini-summary of sustainable development as mentioned in the NPPF text?
