Residential Extensions Relief and Main Residence - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Over the past two days I have identified two applications for Extension Relief where the applicant does not live in the property.  So relief cannot be given.

Can the applicant then move into the house and reapply (as long as it is before commencement)?  And how do you define "Main Residence"?
