Does anyone have any advice for preparing planning policies that address Clean Air Zones?
The Clean Air Zone Framework section 2.3.2 (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/air-quality-clean-air-zone-framework-for-england) states that CAZ need to be identified in Local Plans (presumably with a policy to manage development?) and also that the PPG will be updated to provide guidance. It also makes reference to air quality being in the NPPF, but I think this relates to AQMAs only. I can find no other guidance on planning & CAZ.
Also, any thoughts on the use of PD rights in CAZ, particularly office conversions to residential? Presumably there can be no LA control, unless PD rights removed?
