An excellent opportunity has arisen at Dacorum Borough Council for an individual to be part of our Strategic Planning and Regeneration team as an Infrastructure and CIL Officer. With the support of established Member and Officer working groups, you will be responsible for developing the Council’s approach to collecting funding for infrastructure from development and the processes for allocating monies received. Specific duties will include: • progressing CIL from the current Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule stage through to adoption; • developing appropriate internal mechanisms governing the collection and spend of money received; • developing processes for monitoring and reporting spend; • advising regarding the integration of CIL and S106; and • liaising with providers to ensure the Council’s Infrastructure Delivery Plan remains up to date.
