Determining Planning Applications on safeguarded HS2 route - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

My Local Authority have received a application to extend the time of a application which lies on the safeguarded route of HS2.

HS2 Ltd have objected and also indicated that if the LPA are minded to approve then the app should be refered to the Secretary of Transport.

This is the only objection .

My question is - has anybody refused an application on this route on the basis of HS2 objection only? I am sure similar examples exist
