We work closely with our Children and Young Peoples Services department as well as the police. We don't have clustering within the policy, however, the homes proposed would have to be appropriately located, taking into consideration the distance from other childrens homes which are located in close proximity to the application site. </p>

I did come across your policy when researching and found it really useful. I couldn't see that you had any specific clustering policy though, am i right? <p>Other than Blackpool, does anybody know of any or currently operate a policy specifically for specialist/supported housing and/or children's homes?</p>
<p>And if so, what if any evidence did you use/commission to create such a policy?</p>
<p>Was clustering a factor and did you implement this? Was this due to impact on amenities or character of an area and how did you evidence this? </p>
