    <summary type="html">&lt;h2&gt;We are seeking expressions of interest from local authorities to
  improve digital planning software&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Department for Levelling Up, and Housing Communities (DLUHC) is
  seeking Expressions of Interest from councils who want to improve
  their planning software, so that it supports the vision set out in
    the &lt;a
    href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/planning-for-the-future"&gt;Planning
    for the Future White Paper&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;New partner councils should be committed to a vision for planning
  software that is accessible, interoperable, and facilitates the
  effective use of data to improve the efficiency and transparency of
  planning services.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Councils are invited to submit applications under one of two
  Expressions of Interest:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;The RIPA/BOPS EOI:&lt;/strong&gt; Up to £400,000 of funding each
    is available for circa 5 new councils to join the project team to
    design and begin implementing the &lt;a
      href="https://dluhcdigital.blog.gov.uk/2021/06/30/mhclg-launch-two-beta-planning-products/"&gt;RIPA/BOPS
      products&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;a

  &lt;li&gt;
    &lt;strong&gt;The Development Management Software Pathfinder
    EOI:&lt;/strong&gt; Up to £150,000 of funding each is available for circa
    10 councils who wish to upgrade their existing software by working
    with their current service providers. &lt;a
      href="https://localdigital.gov.uk/development-management-software-eoi"&gt;Find

&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Expressions of Interest will close on 26 November 2021 at 5:00pm.&lt;/p&gt;
