&lt;p&gt;Hello Rob,&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The committee should behave in line with their constitution. Many will not record individual members votes unless is specifically required for a particular reason (usually to do with costs).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So, it may not be possible to respond to an FOI because the information is not held.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Start with the constitution and work back from there would be my advice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

In this council he understands the vote is secret by pressing voting buttons not a show of hands. Would such a request have to be made to the chairperson before a vote was taken and would members have to agree? Or is it the public's right to know how councillors have voted? Anybody help asap.&lt;/span&gt;</summary>
