<p>We had to do a business case and get approval from Finance and Senior Management before appoint the CIL posts. We now have to do time recording to evidence the claim for the 5% admin fee.</p>

<p>We introduced CIL at the beginning of this year and hope to use the 5% administration portion to fund a CIL officer post.</p>
<p>I am wondering whether any other authorities are using the administration portion to fund a post and if so did they need to justify this to their finance teams in terms of predicting how much CIL they were likely to receive?</p>
