Planning application for Static caravan

Im at a loss, Imp trying to help my uncle who has lived in a static caravan on a farm for the last 20 years, the farm owner did have a 10yr temporary planning permission for him to be there which has expired and although the farm owner has tried to renew it all to no avail, it being refused on being in a flood risk area, after several emails back and forth with the planning officer they have issued a letter telling he must leave within the next 6 months, he still works on the farm, I assume his options are not looking unless somebody can throw him a life line. kind regards Steve.
