<p> Hi Gareth</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> Assuming you are in England there is no third party right of appeal against planning decisions. &nbsp;There are means of challenging the process of a decision, which you have identified in your original post.</p>

<p> Hi all</p> <p> I'm not a planner but support Councillors at a local authority and was looking for any advice on how/if residents or Ward Councillors could appeal against a Planning Committee decision to approve a development. &nbsp;</p> <p> The only things I'm aware of are a query to the Monitoring Officer if it could be shown that the Planning Code of Conduct had not been ahered too (not likely in this case I think) or a JR. &nbsp;Is there anything else that could be used?</p> <p> Thanks in advance and apologies if this is a totally naive question.</p>
