Uni application form
When it rains put on a rain coat that’s my approach to life. I don’t like my new school didn’t much like the old one either.
Following our eviction dad was in a homeless hostel with me in children’s home. Every night girls would climb through a window to meet their pimp. A foster home was not for me I don’t need looking after hence this shitty flat.
I would like to learn Latin and Greek so I can better understand English.
I don’t like labels trendy or derogatory but I have no choice someone else’s hoodies and trainers always have logos on and social workers think they know what’s in.
When I left the children’s home all my possessions were in a black bin liner.
Little is expected of me yet teachers express disappointment in my essays,” this isn’t what examiners are looking for”. Well I didn’t write it for them I wrote it for me because if occasionally I was able to put feelings and ideas into words it was pleasing it felt that putting it down on paper didn’t allow it to slip away unnoticed.
If my teachers are right and uni admission tutors are like examiners then they won’t like this letter but I hope that they will be curious enough to want to know more so I am counting on a nosy admissions tutor. No I don’t play a musical instrument but if I did it would be the sax because of its strangled notes and screaming statements.
I don’t excel at sports but I do enjoy kicking a football around.
I am not well traveled and I won’t be having a gap year. If I did I wouldn’t go to Bali or Moon beach in Thailand I’d go back in time to the Cold War and visit Berlin and experience the Berlin Wall. I would make a good spy. I am used to changing my self to fit in with my surroundings and I like to stand back and observe .My unremarkable appearance and ordinariness would be an advantage. I often feel invisible in groups. What I have is opinions. What I want from uni is the skill to say something interesting and entertaining about serious things. PS that stuff about being evicted and my dad living in a hostel isn’t true.
