Your Old House UK - Repair and Conservation offers practical advice for the owners of old and Listed buildings in the UK who wish to make informed repairs and conservation efforts. 

The group focuses on preserving historic buildings by encouraging their owners in doing quality work and avoidng damaging alterations suggested by uninformed professionals. 

The group promotes the ethics, literature and advice of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, the oldest building conservation organisation in the U.K., though we are not formally affiliated with them in any way.
