Published in October 2017, the report provides an evaluation of Tech City UK (TCUK) and its impact on beneficiary firms. TCUK was established to address the barriers and challenges to the digital tech sector in the UK. The initial focus of TCUK was around London, reflecting the cluster activity around Shoreditch, though it had a remit for the entire UK. In 2015, Tech North was established, as part of TCUK, to provide further focus on delivering its mission in the North of England. 

The evaluation provides an assessment of delivery, outcomes, impacts and value for money as well as a review of progress against recommendations from an interim evaluation. Several conclusions and recommendations are also provided in the report.
