Published in September 2008, the Evaluation of the South Yorkshire Social Infrastructure Programme (SYSIP) is an interim assessment of the programme’s progress, prior to the final evaluation in 2009. The programme is evaluated by researchers at Sheffield Hallam University working in partnership with consultants MTL and COGS. The aim of the SYSIP is to increase the sustainability of the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in South Yorkshire through support to infrastructure organisations.
