Published in July 2019, the Digest of United Kingdom Energy Statistics (DUKES) continues a series of energy production and energy use publications which commenced over 70 years ago. The 2019 issue updates the figures given in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) 2018 issue. The publication consists of seven chapters covering energy overall, specific fuels, renewable sources of energy, and combined heat and power.
