Published in January 2016, ECT Charity’s ‘Why Community Transport Matters’ is an amalgamation of two pieces of ground-breaking research to help community transport organisations around the UK to demonstrate their social value and the impact they have on health, wellbeing and communities.

The aim of this Report is to share lessons learned to convince councils, commissioners and government policymakers that community transport is a worthwhile investment. The Report also looks at the cost savings of community transport on a regional/local level.
