The house price index data released in September shows a slow down of house sales across the UK in July 2021, following the end of the Stamp Duty holiday on 30 June 2021. The average house price across the North’s regions in July 2021 was £170,143 down 6.1% on June 2021, just before the Stamp Duty holiday deadline.
