The Resolution Foundation's recent 'Work Experiences' report presents the results of analysis of the results of its Skills and Employment Survey and other sources to show how the nature of employees' experience of work has changed in the UK since the 1990s. This research forms a part of the thinktank's broader 'The Economy 2030 Inquiry' on the nature of economic change in the UK. The findings challenge pessimistic claims about a straightforward deterioration of working conditions seen for example in Graeber's 'Bullshit Jobs' thesis but identifies more nuanced concerns about rising levels of workplace stress and the rapid change in the nature of lower paid work.
