In October 2021, the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) published a research report on the extent of health inequality in England, as well as the economic opportunity presented by addressing the historic barriers to progress. The report also makes six recommendations around optimising the NHS around equality, and incentivising cross-government action on health inequality.
