A question has arisen in relation to timetable

The Neighbourhood Plan team would like their Plan to be examined at the same time as the Local Plan will be at Reg 19 (pre-submission publication)

Is there a risk that the NDP examination won’t be successful, as although it is in line with the direction of travel of our new Local Plan, this is not yet existing policy. We don’t want to hold up the progress on the NDP, but equally we don’t want it to be examined, only to be told, they should wait until our Local Plan is in place. Thoughts appreciated.
