Historic England has recently published a draft advice note on Sustainability Appraisal/Strategic Environmental Assessment for consultation – see https://www.historicengland.org.uk/about/what-we-do/consultations/guidance-open-for-consultation/
The document is intended to provide advice to planners, developers and community groups to help ensure heritage considerations are adequately involved in developing plans that may require SA or SEA. We’re inviting comments on all aspects of the document, with a deadline of 25th September. The link above will allow you to see the draft document and also explains how you can submit comments.
