This guidance will assist custodial, detention and healthcare staff in addressing coronavirus (COVID-19) in a prison or prescribed place of detention (PPD). It provides operational recommendations to assist staff, local Public Health England Health Protection Teams (PHEHPTs) and other stakeholders if an incident or outbreak of COVID-19 is reported in a PPD.
