The LGA is a member of the Health Equals campaign along with other organisations including the Health Foundation, Confederation of British Industry, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This week the campaign launched their new #LivesCutShort campaign, aiming to raise awareness of health inequality across the UK by encouraging people to enter their postcode on the Health Equals website to find out the life expectancy in their area.
