and a question has been raised about how a sizeable strategic
brownfield site allocated in the Local Plan within the neighbourhood
area should be treated. A HNA has been prepared which assumes
that this site will meet strategic needs across the wider borough
housing market area and as a result it has been excluded from the HNA
calculations. Concerns are being expressed by the Town Council that
clearly this site will satisfy some needs from within the area. The
question has been raised as to whether there is advice anywhere on
HNA that would support exclusion in this way, the feeling being that
the HNA could result in potential oversupply which in itself could
result in preventing brownfield regeneration. Grateful for any views. </p>
