<p>This is mainly targeted at LPA officers responsible for affordable
housing and monitoring. I'm interested in how LPAs go about monitoring
the delivery of affordable housing on a site-by-site basis, so beyond
the returns to MHCLG.</p>
<p>The West Yorkshire Combined Authority, in partnership with the 5
Local Planning Authorities, are exploring how to get a better handle
on what affordable housing is being delivered on each site, and how we
can start formulating a more detailed picture of forecasting future
delivery. We have a fairly good handle on direct delivery by RPs
through our West Yorkshire Housing Partnership, but less clear on
delivery / supply through S106 (acquisitions by RPs), and first homes
to also contend with.</p>
<p>I'd be interested to hear from LPAs who monitor delivery of
affordable housing on a site-by-site basis, and how you do it. And
those who forecast their supply knowing what will be delivered on each
site (e.g. location of site, tenure, type, number of beds etc). </p>
