These guidelines are for AI in parliaments, developed by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, but many suggestions are applicable to more local levels of government.  The contents promote responsible AI use, while mitigating risks and harnessing AI’s potential to enhance functions and better serve citizens. Topics include principles for democratic AI use, risks and opportunities of AI in legislative settings, case studies and practical recommendations and tools to support responsible AI implementation.
