The Nuffield Foundation wants the work it funds to make a marked contribution to shaping the society that emerges from Covid-19. Their Research, Development and Analysis fund is for projects to inform the design and operation of social policy and practice across their three core domains of education, welfare and justice. Applications for research, development and analysis grants are usually between £10,000 and £500,000. They are inviting applicants to submit new research proposals, with the next deadline for applications being September. They are happy to receive proposals from local authorities, so long as these don’t replace statutory funding or local service provision.
