Published in June 2017, the report explored the role of the social economy in supporting inclusive growth in the UK. The report advocates an ecosystem approach to improving the social economy within the UK and on a city region scale. The report provides recommendations for policy makers and social economy organisations to help develop and provide an enabling environment for the social economy. These recommendations address identified barriers within the report’s research and build on discussions from stakeholders and 24 international and UK-based case studies.
