Published in November 2018, the Report explores the Homelessness Prevention Trailblazer Areas programme, analysing the programme and lessons learnt. Data was gathered from a rapid evidence assessment, 6 case studies of Trailblazer areas, reviewing all 30 Trailblazer funding applications and estimates of the impact the programme had on statutory homelessness statistics against a comparison group of authorities. Overall, the Report found that the Trailblazer programme has effectively helped authorities and partners to develop and implement innovative approaches to homelessness prevention and highlighted several lessons learnt for authorities and partner organisations.
