In February 2022, the Department for Transport (DfT) published the levelling up toolkit to support transport business cases. The toolkit is designed to help those writing transport business cases assess how a transport proposal contributes towards delivering the DfT strategic priority to grow and level up the economy. This toolkit replaces the Rebalancing Toolkit that was published in 2017.
