Housing Completion Reports in IDOX

We are having problems getting crystal reports in IDOX to run correct Annual Housing Completion reports.

Does anyone else use IDOX DC Module, Monitoring Survey, Residential Details to input their housing data?

Do you use crystal reports which report what housing has been completed in any given year?

Thanks

RE: Housing Completion Reports in IDOX

Hi Helen,

We use the Uniform DC Module however to monitor completions we run a query on planning permissions granted and then manually enter the details into a separate Access monitoring database before undertaking site visits.

It would be most helpful to get a better understanding of what Uniform is capable of, in terms of recording monitoring information in a single database (without manual data entry from one software package to another), and what add-ons are available and most useful within Uniform to assist with this.

I will be watching this thread with interest!

Hi Anthony

We used to do the same as you.  Run a report to get the info out of the DC Module then type it all into an Access database and this worked fine. Then our IT department said they no longer supported Access so we had to use the DC Module.  Its good that a lot of the info is already there so no duplication but using crystal reports to get the data out has been a nightmare.  We end up exporting data from crystal into excel and correcting it all in excel.  IDOX are trying to help us but its one problem after another.

Be interesting to hear from others on their experiences.
