Solar Farms - Areas of search - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Hi - As a metropolitan borough tightly constrained by green belt we are considering the potential to develop areas of search for solar windfarms, based on a categorisation and scoring system.  I wonder if anyone else has considered this possibility and whether indeed it is possible within the confines of the NPPF and plan making process.
