Dividing extensions over multiple Planning Applications - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

All,

Has anyone found a way to manage applicants who are attempting to divide extensions over multiple applications in order to ensure that they avoid CIL? Are you pushing them down the route of S73 Variation Applications for subsequent permissions?

I want to provide some guidance to colleagues in Development Management, but the CIL Regs provide very little assistance on this issue.
