A free event for officers and elected members

As we approach the date and local authorities start to consider their returns for the year, the Task Force is running a training event specifically for elected members and officers, free for local authorities, national parks and anyone with a gov.uk email address. The event shares insight from a range of professionals working to create policy or deliver custom and self build sites, including:
- Increasing capacity to engage with the requirements of the Right to Build and the impact of different approaches as a council,
- Growing knowledge of the benefits of custom and self build,
- Building awareness of what other councils are doing, and
- Increasing access to support available, such as funding for development, advice from the Task Force, delivery via enablers, Homes England new Self-commissioned Homes Unit.
