Local Government Association

The Local Government Association (LGA) is the national voice of local government. We work with councils to support, promote and improve local government.

Lead Organisation: Local Government Association

Welcome to the LGA Network on Knowledge Hub

The LGA is a politically-led, cross party organisation which works on behalf of councils to ensure local government has a strong, credible voice with national government. We aim to influence and set the political agenda on the issues that matter to councils so they are able to deliver local solutions to national problems. The purpose of the LGA is to play a leading role in improvement and innovation to ensure that councils can continue to make a difference in their local areas and more importantly to the lives of their residents. As an organisation we support councils in England and Wales, including county and districts, metropolitan and unitary, London boroughs, Welsh unitary councils, fire and rescue and national parks through challenging times, focusing our efforts where we can have real impact.

To hear and learn more about various KHub groups supported by the LGA, please join our network area. There are groups that cover all the areas the LGA support, where we aim to share updates, facilitate discussions and most importantly hear your thoughts and comments.
