New care and support guide released on the NHS website

A new guide to social care and support has been released on the NHS website, to provide guidance to people who may need social care, their families and carers.

The Social Care and Support Guide is now available on the NHS website. It has been designed for people who might need social care services, their families and carers. It aims to helps them to understand their options and access the care they need.

The guide has been written by experts and extensively tested with users, including members of the public, local authorities, care providers and the third sector. Councils, NHS organisations and care providers can reuse this information using the free syndication programme. This provides organisations with a social care and support guide widget that can pull up to date content directly from nhs.uk onto your own website or mobile application.
