Leeds Metropolitan University's Health Together team are organising an exciting and topical conference entitled: Putting ‘the public’ back into Public Health - Building the experience of citizens into public health evidence.
The event will be held on Thursday 16th January 2014 at Leeds Metropolitan University.
There is a great line up of speakers – David Hunter, Jane South, Mike Kelly, Alison Hill and many more and anticipate having a lively debate on how we value the voice and experience of citizens in building evidence on which to base public health practice. There will be opportunities to discuss this from a wide range of perspectives and the conference will be of interest to local government, clinical commissioning groups, primary health care, public health, academia, and both statutory and third sector organisations which are engaged in promoting health.
Booking for the conference is now open with an early bird offer of £99 (£60 for VCOs) – you can get more information here. For interested organisations there is also the opportunity to have a stall – please do let us know if that’s you – it’s only £360 including a free delegate place and VAT. If you have any questions regarding hosting a conference stall, please contact Shona McCulloch (firstname.lastname@example.org).
