Harlow Council has taken the most important step available to public sector bodies to prepare for the amended PSI Directive - it has formally adopted the Open Government Licence (OGL). This means that all its published on-line information is open, available and ready to be re-used. Looking forwards, all the Council's new published information will also be covered by the OGL automatically, saving time and effort for all concerned.
Other Councils considering steps to prepare for the amended PSI Directive and wanting to follow Harlow's example can see the Council's amended copyright statement here. Public sector copyright advice and guidance is available from the Information Policy team at The National Archives (email@example.com).
