After a successful launch of the 'Young and In Gov' network at the end of last year, I'm eagerly anticipating the second meeting on the evening of 21 March.

We'll be looking at celebrating success and giving young(ish - otherwise I couldn't go!) officers the chance to speak up about personal and professional successes. We'll also hear from David Holdstock, Head of Comms here at the LGA and Valerie Pearce, Improving the Customer Experience Programme Director & Head of City Services at Brighton & Hove City Council about their own experiences in the sector, focusing on ways we can be proud of our contributions to the organisational / sector as a whole and share these to effectively sell our successes.
(I have no idea what this is about, but it's my favourite result from the Google image search.)
We'll finish the evening with drinks and nibbles and possibly even a trip to Nando's.
You'll find the full agenda and meeting details over on Rachel Burnham's blog but if you have any questions, leave me a comment or message.
Most importantly, if you feel Young and In Gov, RSVP and come along!
