Introduction to Social Enterprise in Public Service

 This introduction will provide participants with a grounding in the fundamentals of social enterprise in order to better understand what a social enterprise is, how it differs form other business models, what it can deliver, the options regarding types and legal structures and , how the choice of structure impacts on governance, regulatory requirements, financing, trading, tax, and regulatory requirements. A variety of existing examples will be used to help highlight key points and inform discussion.
