There is good evidence that people with long term condtions - particularly when conditions are progressive - experience a deterioration in their socio-economic circumstances - which then affects their health and wellbeing. Yet welfare rights and advocacy services continue to be poorly commissioned and on the margins - this blog considers whether the Care Act might help redress this imbalance.
